Sara Paretsky

Sara Paretsky ( born June 8, 1947 in Ames, Iowa) is an American doctorate historian and author of detective novels about the private detective VI Warshawski.

Life

Sara Paretsky grew up in the eastern part of the U.S. state of Kansas. Early age of 11, she published her first story. At the University of Kansas, she studied political science and moved to Chicago after they know during a social internship and love had learned.

In 1977, she holds a doctorate in history. Because sites for historians were scarce, she made then at the University of Chicago MBA. During the following 10 years she worked as a marketing manager of a Chicago insurance company.
