Sarroch

Sarroch is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 5251 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Cagliari in Sardinia. The community is located about 18 kilometers southwest of the Gulf of Cagliari Cagliari ( Golfo degli Angeli ). On the northern and western side of the Monti del Sulcis raise ( Parco del Sulcis ). Sarroch lies on the border between the Sardinian regions Sulcis Iglesiente Campidano di Cagliari.

Economy and Transport

Sarroch lives from tourism and agriculture. In addition to some interesting giant tombs the municipality borders the Natural Park Riserva di Monte Arcosu. Agriculturally, the area is dominated by olive groves. There is also an oil refinery of Saras SpA. There is also the legal headquarters.

Sarroch is verkehrlich developed by the Strada Statale 195 Sulcitana.
