Sarıyer

Sariyer is a district of the Turkish province of İstanbul as well as a district on the European side of Istanbul on the Bosphorus and the Black Sea. The county had Sarıyer according to the last census, 277 372 inhabitants ( as of December 2008).

Sariyer has met with the central Hessian town of Weilburg, in the summer of 2009, an agreement for cooperation and maintains since January 2013 a city partnership with Aachen.
