Sascha Paeth

Sascha Paeth ( born September 9, 1970 in Wolfsburg ) is a German guitarist, bassist, music producer and sound engineer, who, inter alia, with heavy metal bands such as Angra, Shaman, Rhapsody of Fire, Kamelot, Epica, Redkey, After Forever, Luca Turilli, Edguy, Tobias Sammet's Avantasia project and other works. Together with the keyboardist and arranger Michael " Miro " Rodenberg and Olaf Meier riding he runs a studio in Wolfsburg called " Gate Studios ," which was initially used for recordings with his former band Heaven's Gate. The studio team is completed by Simon Oberender since 2007.

He has produced a number of albums in collaboration with Michael Rodenberg. In 2004 he produced Days of Rising Doom, a metal opera, in which many guest musicians participated in the heavy metal band area as " Aina ".

He was producer, engineer and guitarist with The Scarecrow of Avantasia, published in collaboration with Tobias Sammet and other musicians from the rock and metal scene in 2008. For this album, he was awarded the Golden Bobby awarded by the Association of German sound engineer.

In 2011, he began work on a new project, The Wirepushers own along with multi-instrumentalist and Avantasia bassist Robert Hunecke on drums and Simon Oberender on bass.

Paeth is co-founder of the nonprofit project, the plantation - room to grow a planned intergenerational encounter and movement center (focus on music, ecology and nature, social encounter, exercise and health promotion ) in the south of Wolfsburg, and a founding member of the Association " room to grow eV "
