Schleswig-Holstein Uplands

The Schleswig -Holstein hill country in addition to the march ( on the North ) and the Geest ( inland ) is one of three types of landscape in Schleswig-Holstein. Characteristic are next for the gentle hills of the Baltic country back many small lakes and fjords, which were marked by the Jungmoränen the Vistula glaciation. Major cities are Kiel, Lübeck and Flensburg. The highest point in the country is Bungsberg in the Holstein Switzerland. On Bungsberg is also the only one, but not permanently installed lift of the country. The Schleswig -Holstein hill country consists of the following regions:
