Schoeck Peak

Schoeck Peak is a 1810 m high mountain in the Enterprise Hills in West Antarctica. It lies at the head of Horseshoe Valley. From Schoeck peak from the Henderson Glacier flows in northeast through the Enterprise Hills to Union Glacier.

The mountain was mapped by site surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy as part of the acquisition of the Enterprise Hills in the years 1961-66. He was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names by Prof. Dr. Peter A. Schoeck, a scientist at the American Antarctic base Little America V explored auroras 1957.
