Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship

The Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship is to promote a non-governmental organization founded by Mr. and Mrs. Klaus and Hilde Schwab 1998 with the aim of Social Innovation.

With the price " Social Entrepreneur of the Year" records the Schwab Foundation in collaboration with the now-defunct Financial Times Germany and the Boston Consulting Group (BCG ) Individuals and organizations who are pursuing innovative ideas, products or offers social objectives, while taking entrepreneurial. The award winners will henceforth be promoted on the network. The Foundation also conducts training seminars for social entrepreneurs.

The Schwab Foundation is not to be confused with the U.S. Charles and Helen Schwab Foundation, which focuses mainly on the promotion of schools.
