Seankhenre Mentuhotepi

Mentuhotepi (sometimes Mentuhotep VII ) was an Egyptian king of the Second Intermediate Period, whose classification is uncertain. He is either set in the 16th or 17th dynasty. After the Turin Royal Canon, he reigned one year.

Documents

Mentuhotepi carried the throne name Seanch -en- Re, and is only known from a few objects. There is a pair of sphinxes Edfu and a stele from Karnak. A scarab is uncertain in the map. His throne name might also appear in the Turin Royal Canon and in the king list of Karnak.

On the stele, a king's son Mont user is called. There was at that time king's son as the title of people who were not of royal descent, born, it remains uncertain whether this is a natural son of the ruler.
