Secchi (lunar crater)

Secchi is an impact crater on the Moon's front page in the Montes Secchi, between Mare Tranquillitatis and Mare Fecunditatis, southwest of the crater Taruntius. The crater is heavily eroded. In the south and north of the Wall is open.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Italian astronomer Angelo Secchi.
