Secretariat of Energy (Mexico)

Secretaría de Energía ( SENER ) is the " Secretariat (ministry) for energy " in Mexico as a governing body for the energy policy of the country.

The original " Secretariat for national goods and administrative inspection " ( Secretaría de Bienes Nacionales e Inspectorate Administrativa ) was established on December 7, 1946. In 1958 it was renamed the " Secretariat of the nation's wealth " ( Secretaría del Patrimonio Nacional - SEPANAL ), 1976 it was extending the tasks of the " Secretariat for power and industrial promotion " ( Secretaría de Patrimonio y Fomento Industrial - SEPAFIN ) and 1982 " Secretariat of Energy, mines and State industry " ( Secretaría de Energía, Minas e Industria Paraestatal - SEMIP ). The present name, the Secretariat since 1994.

The SENER divided except the three Unterekretariaten ( Subsecretarías ) for " hydrocarbons" ( Hidrocarburos ), "Electricity" ( Electricidad ) and " Energy Planning and Technological Development " ( Planificación Energética y Desarrollo Tecnológico ) nor in the " Directorate of Programming and Budget" ( Dirección de Programación Presupuesto y ), the Department of " computer science and telecommunications " ( Unidad de Informática y Telecomunicaciones ), the " General of Human Resources, Innovation and service " ( Dirección General de Recursos Humanos, Innovación y Servicios ), the " Social Communication " ( Comunicación Social), the Directorate of " services and material resources " ( Dirección de Servicios y Recursos material ) and the legal department ( Asuntos Jurídicos )
