Seishun 18 Ticket

Seishun 18 Kippu ( jap :青春18きっぷ, German "Jugend -18- ticket ") is a special way of Japanese railway companies of Japan Railways Group.

The ticket allows nationwide trips in trains of regional traffic. It was originally planned as an offer especially for students, but there are no age limits and no discounts for children. You can use the ticket within five specified periods which are based on the lecture-free periods at the Universities: Spring Break from March 1 to April 10, the summer holidays from 20 July to 10 September and the winter holidays from December 10 to 10 January.
