Seisla lies on the road from Könitz according to Ranis.

The municipality consists of the villages Seisla and Wöhlsdorf.
Neighboring communities
Adjacent communities are (clockwise) Krölpa, the city Ranis, Schmorda and Wilhelm village.
History
Seisla was first mentioned on September 30, 1381. In 1230, already has one built today listed fortified church.
The district Wöhlsdorf developed only after the Second World War from a manor and some smaller villages.
