Seles (Angola)
Province
Seles is a city in western Angola. The place was called up to the independence from Portugal in 1975, Vila Nova de Seles.
Management
Seles is the seat of an eponymous district ( municipality ) in the Province Cuanza Sul. The neighboring districts are, clockwise beginning in the north: Conda, Cela, Cassongue and Sumbe.
The circuit consists of three municipalities ( Comunas ):
- Amboiva
- Botera
- Seles
The total population in the district Seles 120,000 people, divided into 16 municipal districts ( bairros ), 248 villages ( aldeias ) and 19 smaller towns ( Povoações ).
