Senebsumai

Senebsumai was a high official in ancient Egyptian 13th Dynasty. He officiated well under Sobekhotep II to I. Neferhotep Senebsumai was entitled treasurer ( Imy -r ˁ HTMT ) and had thus held the important office of state next to the vizier under these rulers.

Senebsumai is known by a large number of monuments, demonstrating its importance and influence. Initially he had the office of a top asset managers held only to be transported. However, from his real life is as good as nothing is known.

From Abydos come about a dozen stelae call him. From Hawara there is a bronze statue of him, from Lahun originate bills with his name and comes from Dahshur a fragment with Coffin Texts, which proves well that he was buried there.
