Sergei Mozyakin

Sergei Valeryevich Mosjakin (Russian: Сергей Валерьевич Мозякин; born March 30, 1981 in Yaroslavl ) is a Russian professional ice hockey defenseman who plays for Metallurg Magnitogorsk HK in the Kontinental Hockey League since 2011.

Career

Sergei Mosjakin began his career in 1998 at Val- d'Or Foreurs in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. NHL Entry Draft 2002 Columbus Blue Jackets selected him in the ninth round of the 263 site. 1999-2006 played the striker in HK CSKA Moscow. On his next club Atlant Mytischtschi the Russians from 2006 until 2011 was under contract. For the 2011/12 season he moved within the league for Metallurg Magnitogorsk.

Internationally

2008 and 2009 Mosjakin became world champion with the Russian national team. Previously, he participated in the 2006 World Cup, where he finished fifth with the Russian selection. In the season 2007/ 08 he was also in the context of the Euro Hockey Tour to use, where he scored four goals and three assists in twelve games.
