Sergio Orduña

Sergio Orduna ( born April 4, 1954 in Xochitepec, Morelos ), also known by the nickname La Hormiguita (Spanish for The hustle ), is a Mexican football coach and former player who acted in midfield.

Life

Stations as a player

His first game in the Mexican Primera División denied " La Hormiguita " Orduna on November 2, 1975 to his "home club " CD Zacatepec in a 1-0 away win against Club León. His first Erstligator succeeded him on 16 November 1975 with a 2-0 victory against the Tigres de la UANL, for which he was to play a full decade soon and with whom he for the seasons 1977/78 and 1981/82 twice, the Mexican Championship won.

At the end of his playing career he played for the Correcaminos de la UAT, in whose ranks he 's 2-0 home win against CD Veracruz his last game in the Mexican Primera División graduated on June 2, 1991. Already on 17 December 1989 he had obtained for the same club his last Erstligator to 1:0 after 6 minutes in the 2-0 home win against Atlético Morelia.

National

Between 22 January 1980, when he came on against Czechoslovakia (1-0 ) twenty minutes before game end, and 10 February 1981, when he played a half- time against South Korea and in the 88th minute with his only international goal the 4 could produce :0- Final, Orduna completed a total of three international appearances. His longest insert ( about 80 minutes), he completed on January 20, 1981 in a 1-1 draw against Bulgaria.

His debut as a head coach in the highest Mexican league was " La Hormiguita " Orduna in the service of CF Monterrey after the contractual relationship with the former coach Hugo de León was completed. Orduna oversaw the Rayados between 24 April and 15 May 2004 in the last four games of the Clausura 2004 against Chivas Guadalajara ( 3-3 ) at Necaxa (1:1) against Puebla FC ( 2-2) and at the Pumas de la UNAM (2:3).

In the 2007 /08 season he won with the Indios de Ciudad Juárez, the championship of the second division and thus promotion to the Primera División. There he was, however, already after four games - against the Tecos de la UAG ( 0:1), at his Exverein CF Monterrey ( 0:2 ), against Necaxa (2:3) and at Santos Laguna ( 0:3 ) are all were lost - released early.

Soon after, he inherited Pablo Luna as coach of CD Veracruz and led the Tiburones Rojos from September 2008 to March 2009 through the last games of the Clausura 2008 and the first games of the Apertura 2009, the second division, before he in turn was replaced by Luis Flores.

Between October and December 2011 Orduna trained until their withdrawal from the second division once again the Indios de Ciudad Juárez and topically once the Lobos de la BPRD, he had already taken care of in the 2009/10 season.
