Shea Whigham

Franklin Shea Whigham Junior ( born January 5, 1969 in Tallahassee, Florida ) is an American actor.

Life

Whigham was born in Florida in 1969. When he was 5 years old, his family moved to the vicinity of Orlando, where he also completed high school. Later he settled in New York City, where he founded his own theater group.

In 1997, he first appeared in television productions as an actor in appearance. He received his first major role in 2000 in Joel Schumacher's war drama Tigerland alongside Colin Farrell and Michael Shannon.

Later numerous supporting roles followed in films such as All the Real Girls (2003), Pride and Glory (2008), Fast & Furious - New Model. Original parts. (2009 ) Machete (2010) and The Conspirator (2010).

Since 2010, he appears in the role of Elias " Eli " Thompson on the HBO television series Boardwalk Empire.
