Shiban

Shibani Khan (also: Sayban, Sheibani, † 1266 ) was the son jochis a younger brother Batu and ancestor of various princes of Siberia.

Shibani took as one of the Mongol prince Batu campaigns to some (especially in the Battle of Muhi against Hungary). After that he was prince of the so-called White Horde, whose territories were in southwest Siberia. As a neighbor to the north, he had the Orda horde, which was led by his older brother Orda. The western neighbor was the Blue Horde Batu. In practice, these dominions are, however, virtually inseparable, as the name use is not always clear, and some princes strove for the control of their neighbors in the late 14th and early 15th centuries.

His descendants ruled until the 15th century in Siberia. Shibani Khan was introduced in the 15th century, the name giver of the later Shelbanides dynasty which various princes of the Uzbeks ( Mohammed Sheibani ) and Siberia ( Khanate of Sibir ).
