Shrine of Nostra Signora della Guardia

The Santuario di Nostra Signora della Guardia ( in sanctuary about our woman to the police station ) is the most important Marian pilgrimage church of the Italian region of Liguria. It was built in the 16th century on the summit of Monte Figogna (804 m) and belongs to the municipality Ceranesi, about 20 km from the regional capital is Genoa. The name of the church is due to the strategic location ago, it occupies on the mountain top.
