Sideris Tasiadis

Sideris Tasiadis (born 7 May 1990 in Augsburg ) is a German canoeist.

Tasiadis parents are from Komara at Orestiada in northeastern Greece. Sideris grew up in Augsburg. He began 2000 with the canoe slalom at the Augsburg Kayak Club and start now for the canoe Schwaben Augsburg, the canoe sports department of TSV Schwaben Augsburg. Tasiadis is currently in training for law enforcement officials in the sports promotion group of the Bavarian police.

In 2012, Tasiadis was able to prevail against national competition and qualified in the one - Canadians for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, where he won the silver medal. He lives with his girlfriend, the canoeist Claudia Bear, in Augsburg.

In 2013, he succeeded the overall victory in the World Cup of category C1.
