Sigfrid Lindberg

Sigfrid " Sigge " Oskar Lindberg ( born March 26, 1897 in Helsingborg, † January 4, 1977 ) was a Swedish football player.

Career

Lindberg first played at IF Örnen. In 1918 he made ​​his debut in goal for Helsingborgs IF. 1929 and 1930 was the goalkeeper Swedish champion. Between 1924 and 1931 he played 147 times in Allsvenskan. In 1931 he moved to Landskrona BoIS for which he played 27 Erstligapartien up to end of his career the following year.

Lindberg played 1921-1930 50 times for the Swedish national team. In the 1924 Olympics he won the bronze medal with the selection.
