Sigge Parling

Sigvard " Sigge " Parling ( born March 26, 1930 in Forsbacka, Gastrikland ) is a former Swedish football player.

Career

Parling debuted in 1949 for Djurgårdens IF in the Allsvenskan. 1955 and 1959 was the midfielder with the club Swedish champion. For season 1961, he moved to IK Sirius, where he played until 1963. Then he played until his retirement at the end of 1965 Gefle IF.

Parling was called 39 times in the Swedish national team. In the 1958 World Cup in his own country, he played all six games and was named after the 2:5 - final defeat by Brazil Vice World Champion.
