Silas Sang

Silas Kipngetich Sang ( born August 21, 1978) is a Kenyan long- distance runner who specializes in road races.

In 2006 he won the Torremolinos - Malaga and the Half Marathon and was second in the Madrid Marathon. In 2007, he defended his title in Torremolinos, was sixth at the Portugal Half Marathon and won the Los Palacios Half Marathon.

2008 followed his third victory in Torremolinos triumphs at the 15 km from Massamagrell and the Albacete Half Marathon and a second place at the Göteborgsvarvet. When Portugal Half Marathon he set a course record with 1:01:28, beating the hot favorites Paul Tergat. In 2009 he improved at the same competition the track record to 1:00:20 h

In 2011 he returned to a third place in the Lisbon Marathon back to the 42,195 - km - distance and finished fourth at the Ottawa Marathon. In the fall he managed his third victory at the Portugal Half Marathon. In 2012, he was second at the Nagano Marathon.
