Silvia Pinal
Silvia Pinal Hidalgo ( born September 12, 1931 in Guaymas ) is a Mexican actress in movies, on stage and on television. She is considered one of the most important protagonists in her home country.
Life
Pinal began her career as an actress in the late 1940s in film and worked in the following decade with significant colleagues of that time together. In 1952 she received the first time the Mexican Film Award Premio Ariel; crucial was her performance in Un rincón cerca del cielo. 1957 and 1958 she was honored again with it, pasional for the films La Locura and dulce enemiga. Frequently she turned with director Tullio Demicheli, which it established in Spanish productions; also from Italy, she received offers. In the early 1960s began Pinals collaboration with Luis Buñuel, in which Viridiana, The Exterminating Angel and Simon of the desert, they probably interpreted her internationally famous and important roles. The third marriage ( with singer and actor Enrique Guzmán ) held from 1967 to 1976; you come from a daughter ( Alejandra Guzmán ) and their only son. Finally Pinal was married for the fourth time with the politician Tulio Hernández Gómez 1982-1995.
2008 Pinal was awarded the Golden Ariel for her life's work.
