Simeon De Witt
Simeon De Witt ( * 1756 in Wawarsing, Ulster County, New York, † 1834 in Ithaca, New York) was Geographer and Surveyor - General of the Continental Army during the American Revolution. He was also one of the three creators of the Commissioners ' plan of 1811. Among the three-member committee were still Gouverneur Morris and John Rutherfurd of attorney.
