Simione Tamanisau

Simione Tamanisau ( born June 5, 1982) is a Fijian football players.

He became known in October 2007 in the media as the New Zealand government denied him an entry visa for the World Cup qualifier against Fiji New Zealand, followed by the FIFA canceled the game. The visa was denied because Tamanisaus father belongs to the Fijian military regime. New Zealand denied family members of the regime of entry. It was originally planned as it appeared the international match on 19 November 2008 on neutral ground, Apia (Western Samoa ), but was then played in Lautoka (Fiji).
