Simon Henry, Count of Lippe

Simon Heinrich zur Lippe -Detmold ( born March 13, 1649 Sternberg, † May 2, 1697 in Detmold ) was ruler of the county of Lippe- Detmold.

Life

Simon Henry was the eldest son of Count Hermann Adolf zur Lippe - Detmold and his first wife, the Countess Ernestine Ysenburg - Büdingen - Birstein.

In 1665 he came to the government. On September 15, 1666 he married in The Hague Baroness Amalia of Dohna- Vianen, Utrecht Erbburggräfin, Heiress of Vianen and Ameiden ( born February 2, 1644, The Hague), The General's Daughter, Christian Albrecht of Dohna.

1683-1685 he was replaced at today Augustendorf, built there by his father in 1657 hunting lodge Lopshorn by a representative hunting lodge with symmetrically arranged around a courtyard outbuildings.
