Simurq PIK

The Peşəkar Futbol Klubu Simurq Zaqatala is an Azerbaijani football club from Zaqatala. The club plays in the top division of Azerbaijan, the Premyer Liqasi. The club colors are black and white. The name " Simurq " (see Simurgh ) refers to the Persian equivalent of the Phoenix.

General

The club was founded in 2005. The home ground of the association is the Zaqatala City Stadium (English: City Stadium Zaqatala ). The logo consists of a circle with an eagle in the center, holding a football in its claws. Top, bottom and on the sides are the club name and the founding year of the association.
