Sinuhe Wallinheimo

Mika Sinuhe Wallinheimo ( born March 9, 1972 in Jyväskylä, Finland ) is a retired Finnish professional ice hockey goaltender, who during his career, among other things played in the Finnish SM- liiga, American Hockey League, the German Ice Hockey League and the Swedish Elitserien. Since April 2011 he has been elected in the Finnish Parliament of the National Coalition Party.

Career

Wallinheimo began his career in the 1989/90 season at JYP Jyvaskyla of the Finnish SM- liiga in. In the 1992/93 season played for HIFK Helsinki Wallinheimo in the SM- liiga and Junior SM- liiga, as well as for Karhu -Kissat Helsinki in the 1st Division. A year later he went to North America and played three years in the National Collegiate Athletic Association for the University of Denver in the State of Colorado.

He then moved to the American Hockey League with the Hershey Bears, but was also in the East Coast Hockey League to Mobile Mysticks used, which cooperated with the Bears. Also in the 1997/98 season he played first in the ECHL with the Mississippi Sea Wolves, in the AHL before he came to assignments with the Springfield Falcons again.

In the following season Wallinheimo played back in Finland for the SM - liiga Club Rauman Lukko and from the 1999/2000 season for three years in Germany. First, Wallinheimo joined the EHC Neuwied from the 2nd Bundesliga, but filed for bankruptcy in the current season. However, due to its good performance he found in the Revierlöwen Oberhausen quickly a new club for which he played the next two and a half years in the German Ice Hockey League. In summer 2002, the Revierlöwen was denied a license for the DEL 2003/ 04. Wallinheimo was forced to leave the club. Then the Finn played for two years in Sweden Färjestad BK in the Elitserien with whom he reached the championship finals in both years.

Since the season 2004/ 05 he was playing in Finland with his hometown club JYP Jyväskylä, but changed in the 2007/ 08 season to HK Dynamo Moscow in the Russian Super League. For the season 2008/ 09 he returned to Jyväskylä and won the championship of the SM- liiga.

Wallinheimo was appointed by the Finnish Association in the Finnish national team for the World Ice Hockey Championship in 2007, but remained without WM- use.

Policy

For the conservative and liberal National Coalition Party candidate Wallinheimo success in the parliamentary elections of 2011.
