Skærbæk

Skærbæk commune ( municipality Scherrebek German ) was a municipality in Jutland Office ( Northern Schleswig ) in southwest Denmark. It lies on the North Sea and was from 1970 to 2006 from the communities Brøns ( German: Broens ) Døstrup ( German: Döstrup ) Mjolden ( German: Medolden ) Rejsby ( German: Reiseby ), Romo ( German: Rom ) Skærbæk ( German: Scherrebek ) and Vodder ( German: Wodder ). In the municipal reform, which took effect on 1 January 2007, the municipality Skærbæk was dissolved. Together they form with the existing municipalities Bredebro, Højer, Løgumkloster Nørre - Rangstrup (except the parish Bevtoft ) and Tønder ( German: Tønder ) the new metropoloitan Tønder.
