Slovenian Sportsperson of the Year
The Slovenian Sportsman of the Year are selected annually since 1968 by the Slovenian sports journalists. Between 1968 and 1991, the award was presented to athletes the Yugoslav Republic of Slovenia. After the independence of Slovenia, the award was continued according to the tradition.
The most successful athletes, with four awards from the float Borut Petrič. When the athletes ski racer Mateja Svet is the most successful with seven awards.
