Bindweed ( Convolvulus arvensis)

The Nightshade -like ( Solanales ) are an order of flowering plant ( Magnoliopsida ). Here are five families are arranged; the most important families are the nightshade family (Solanaceae ) and bindweed ( Convolvulaceae ).

Description

There are both woody and herbaceous plants. The leaves are usually alternate. The flowers are mostly radial symmetry, Zygomorphie is the exception for a few taxa. The sepals are also still available on the ripe fruit.

In many taxa alkaloids occur, often including tropane alkaloids.

The Solanales are within the Euasteriden I, the sister group of the Lamiales. They include the following families:
