Somogy County
Somogy [ ʃomoɟ ] ( German Somogy ) is a county (administrative district ) in south-west Hungary. It is bordered by Croatia as well as the counties of Zala, Veszprém, Fejér, Tolna and Baranya. It has an area of 6036 km ² and (2001) 331 976 inhabitants. The county seat is Kaposvar.

Geography
The area is mostly hilly. The southern border with Croatia enters the river Drava, which is the only major river. In the north of the county is bordered by Lake Balaton.
