Søren Rieks
Søren Rieks Krukow ( born April 7, 1987 in Jerne ) is a Danish football player. He is currently in the Netherlands at NEC Nijmegen under contract.
Club career
Rieks began his career in the youth from Esbjerg fB, where he acted for a long time rather unremarkable. He completed all the youth teams of the club and played simultaneously in the indoor football team of the club with which he was in 2007 the Danish Indoor Champion.
In the season 2005/06 at the time, entirely unknown players came as a surprise to his pro debut in the SAS Liga. It was not until the following season, he came to another brief appearances in which he had partially flashed his great talent. Overall, he completed eleven season games, the majority, however, change as players.
Followed in 2007 by then an explosive performance of the player, which caused quite a stir. In pre-season he had a regular place as a right midfielder won the diamond of Jutlanders and made with his goalscoring sensation. At the end of the season he was with seven goals this season ex aequo with Martin Vingaard and Njogu Demba - Nyrén Sweden 's top scorer of his club and fixed so that table will finish seven. About the game year he had become the indispensable performer in the club and also celebrated its debut at the international level in the Danish U -21 national team. Previously, he had been taken into account for no youth national team of his country. To cap the season he moved to the club one to the Danish Cup final, in which one, however, was defeated 3-2 Brøndby IF. Rieks was the best player in his team and scored both goals.
This was followed by the disposals of important performers as Demba - Nyrén and veteran defender Igor Stepanov, who could not compensate for the club. The Swede Alexander Stepanov committed for Östlund was injured almost the entire season, which remained from Hanover fetched Gunnar Heidar Thorvaldsson sharply below expectations. In addition, the club sold with Niki Zimling even congenial midfield partner of Rieks, thus focused almost all hopes of the club for him. Despite the great expectations Rieks prolonged then his strong performances and became the guarantor for the relegation of his team. With the purchases of the Dutchman Tim Janssen and the equally talented Peter Nyman for the 2009/10 season Esbjerg immediately had again a strong team together that was in the entire first half of the season for the title and table number three with one point behind Odense BK wintered.
End of July 2012 moved to the Dutch first division Rieks NEC Nijmegen, where he signed a three-year contract by the end of June 2015.
National
Rieks debuted on 19 January 2007 in the unofficial international match against Malaysia in the Danish U -21 selection. It was followed by seven official and two other unofficial internationals with a total score.
On 14 November 2009 he made his debut under coach Morton Olsen 's friendly against South Korea to Denmark. Four days later, he succeeded in his second match against the USA a gateway to the intermediate 2-1 (final score 3-1 )
Since then, he is an integral part of the national team and is considered to be the legitimate successor of Jesper Grønkjær the right of midfield the Danes.
