Star-class ferry

The Star class is a class of five ro-pax ferries that were built by order of Finn Lines at Fincantieri in the shipyards of Ancona and Castellammare di Stabia. They are used in traffic between Finland, Poland and Germany, as well as Germany and Sweden. Almost all of these ships were later delivered to the owners.

Finnstar

The Finnstar was the first completed ship. The ship was built by Fincantieri in Castellammare di Stabia. Europe Link

The Europe link was originally built as Finnlady, but Finn Lines decided due to delays in the construction to swap the names and areas of the ships. The Europe link was built by Fincantieri in Castellammare di Stabia and should be delivered in mid- 2006. In fact, it was delivered in March 2007 and was used until mid-April 2009 by Nordö link between Malmö and Travemünde. As of mid-April 2009, she moved to the route Travemünde - Helsinki. Nordlink

The Northern Link was built by Fincantieri in Castellammare di Stabia, but the final was held in Ancona. The ship should be delivered in March, but the delivery was delayed to July 2007. Upon their arrival in Travemünde they replaced the link in Malmö traffic between Travemünde and Malmö. From mid- February 2009 to October 2012 they operated the route Travemünde - Helsinki.
