Staré Hutě

Stare Hutě ( German Althütten ) is a municipality in Okres Uherské Hradiště in the Czech Republic. It is located 14 km northwest of Staré Město on the Kyjovka in the Martian mountains. The land area is 737 ha

Geography

Surrounded by wooded hills village is situated in 393 m asl the headwaters of the Kyjovka in a narrow valley. North West is the comb Studený žleb, at the northeastern end of town KAMENY the Buchlovské and further to the northeast, the highest elevation in the mountains of Mars Brdo. In the south is affected between 50 and Bučovice Buchlovice Stare Hutě of the European route 50/Staatsstraße.

Neighboring towns are Cetechovice and Roštín in the north, Zikmundov and Salas in the east, and Buchlov Buchlovice in the southeast, southwest, and Zástřizly Stupava in the northwest.

History

The first tradition about a glassworks in Stupavatal dates from the year 1701. It is thought that this was already founded a century earlier by Georg Sigmund of Zástřizly. From 1750, this is associated to the rule Buchlovice village provable that during the 18th century, grew rapidly due to the expansion of the glassworks and the collection of production. The range of the hut was extensive and included mostly flat glass and domestic glass, but also glasses for representation purposes. Between 1801 and 1806, the company found itself in a crisis and had to stop because of difficulties in selling the production. Part of the glassmakers migrated to Nový Hrozenkov.

1814 leased the Berchtold the hut to the glassmakers Isaac kingdom of Buchlowitz who took them back into operation. 1850 390 people lived in the village. Until the closure of the hut in 1876 the treaty, which was concluded in each case to one year was extended again and again. Many of glassmaking families left on the site. The remaining families earned since the end of the 19th century living in the administrative building of the former glass factory, where a workshop for the manufacture of buttons and jewelry was made ​​of nacre, which offered 15 jobs.

Stare Hutě was gepfarrt until October 4, 1863 after Buchlovice and then the newly formed parish in Stupava was assigned.

Today Stare Hutě is primarily a resort.
