Stasys EidrigeviÄius
Stasys Eidrigevičius ( born July 24, 1949 in Mediniškiai, Rajongemeinde Pakruojis, Lithuania) is a Lithuanian graphic artist, painter and photographic artist.
Life
The family of Stasys Eidrigevičius moved in 1956 after Lepsiai in Panevėžys. In Kaunas, he attended from 1964 to 1968, a technical college for leather goods design, then he studied until 1973 at the Pedagogical Faculty of the Institute of Fine Arts in Vilnius. In 1974 he was called up for service in the Red Army.
Poland in 1972, he visited for the first time at the invitation of Exlibrissammlers Edmund Puzdrowski from Bydgoszcz ( Bromberg ). In 1976 he married in Poland and became a father of 4 children, but only in 1980 he received a permanent residence permit for the country.
Stasys Eidrigevičius is active as an artist in several areas, designing posters, illustrated books, paints pictures, designed stage sets, photographed, organized performances. He is also a member of the news magazine Polityka.
