Stefano Bardini

Stefano Bardini ( born April 13, 1836 in Pieve Santo Stefano, † September 12, 1922 in Florence ) was an Italian art dealer, painter, collector and patron.

At 18, he began studying at the Accademia di Belle Arti Firenze in Florence, as a student of Bezzuoli and thereafter from Servolini. He frequented the Caffè Michelangiolo and proved to be a gifted copyist and restorer.
