Stefano Bensi

Stephano Bensi ( born August 10, 1988 in Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourgian football player and current national team.

Career

Bensi began his career at FC Schifflingen 95 After a year in the professional department Ship Long, he moved to U.S. Rumelange. After he scored eleven goals in the first half of the season 2008/ 09 for Rumelange in 15 games, were several clubs, including foreign, pay attention to him. During the winter break, he joined the Belgian second division KMSK Deinze. After only half a year he returned to Luxembourg to the " Subscription - master " F91 Dudelange back.

For the season 2012/13 he moved to CS Fola Esch. He was with his new club champion and also was able to secure the top scorer with 20 goals. On June 3, 2013 Bensi was first elected by a large margin Footballer of the Year in Luxembourg.

National

His debut for the Luxembourg national Bensi was 11 October 2008 in a World Cup qualifier against Israel (final score: 1-3). He was allowed to play the same from the start, but was replaced at half-time. Since then Bensi came to a total of 16 appearances for Luxembourg, his first goal in the National Dress it marked the 1-1 draw on 7 June 2013 World Cup qualifier against Azerbaijan.
