Stefano Sorrentino

Stefano Sorrentino ( born March 28, 1979 in Cava de ' Tirreni (SA), Italy) is an Italian football player.

Playing career

The beginnings

Stefano Sorrentino started his career as a professional footballer in 1996 with 18 years at Lazio. There he was, however, just as in the following season at Juventus to use - after all, he won the Italian championship with Juventus. For this reason, went Sorrentino 1998 Juve's city rivals Torino Calcio. There, too, the situation for the young keeper was not noticeably better. Although he was able to celebrate his Serie A debut in the 1998/99 season, but this was his only use in the current season.

Torino

AEK Athens

Then his wife no longer felt comfortable in a foreign country, asked Sorrentino at the club if he could go back to Italy. The last years

After two years as a goalkeeper for AEK Athens, he moved in the summer of 2007 but then continued. One reason was the commitment of the Austrian National goalkeeper Jurgen Macho. Meanwhile Sorrentino is on loan for the season 2007/ 08 on the Spanish side Recreativo Huelva, where he also held a regular place and all season games played.
