Stephan El Shaarawy
Stephan El Shaarawy Kareem (Arabic ستيفان كريم الشعراوي, DMG Stīfān Karīm aš - Ša ʿ Rawi, born 27 October 1992 in Savona) is an Italian- Egyptian footballer.
Career
The son of an Egyptian father and an Italian mother played from 2006 to 2010 in the youth of Genoa. On 21 December 2008 he was at the age of 16 years, made his debut in Serie A, as he came off the bench in the game of his club against Chievo Verona in the 83rd minute for Bosko Jankovic. In June 2010 he signed the second division club Calcio Padova a contract on loan, which was limited to one year. Padova also received the option of a permanent obligation of the midfielder.
For the season 2011/ 12 El Shaarawy joined Co- owner base to AC Milan. In return, Alexander Merkel joined on the same basis for Genoa. His debut for Milan he gave on September 1, 2011 at the test match in Como (2:1). In June 2012, the club bought the missing 50 % of the transfer rights in El Shaarawy. In the 2012/13 season was El Shaarawy regular at Milan; he scored goals and had assists in Serie A and the Champions League. In February 2013 he extended his contract until 2018.
El Shaarawy participated in the U-17 European Football Championships 2009 in part in Germany, where he reached the semifinals with the Italian selection.
On August 15, 2012, he made his debut in the national team of Italy against England.
