Stinson Reliant
The Stinson Reliant was a single-engine aircraft of the U.S. company Stinson Aircraft in high-deck design. It was equipped with four or five seats.
Between 1933 and 1941 a total of 1,327 aircraft of this type were built in different versions. The last model, the Stinson Reliant SR- 10 was produced from 1938.
Service history
The SR -10 was used in World War II by the U.S. Army as a light transport aircraft (UC -81, R3Q ), liaison aircraft (L -12) and as a training aircraft (AT -19). In addition, it was also used in the British Fleet Air Arm and Royal Air Force as a light liaison and transport aircraft. After the war the aircraft V -77 came under the name Vultee on the civilian market.
