Story Time is a song by Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish. It is the first single from her seventh studio album Imaginaerum, reaching number one on the Finnish single charts.

Construction and content

The song was written by Tuomas Holopainen. The inspiration for the song he picked up from the film The Snowman from the year 1982. The title song of the film Walking in the Air Nightwish had already gecovert on their album Oceanborn. Holopainen described the song as a midnight flight with a snowman.
