Stradunia, Opole Voivodeship

Straduna, Polish Stradunia, is a town in Upper Silesia. Straduna located in the municipality rolls in the powiat Krapkowicki in Polish Opole Voivodeship.

Geographical Location

Straduna is located six kilometers northeast of the municipality seat rollers, nine kilometers south-east of the county town of Krapkowice ( Krappitz ) and 30 kilometers south of the Opole voivodship.

History

Straduna was first documented in 1228.

In the plebiscite in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921 367 voters voted to remain in Germany and 243 for Poland .. Straduna remained with the German Reich. In 1922 the church was built. 1933 lived 1,033 residents in the town. On August 10, 1936, the town was renamed in Tiefburg. 1939, the place had 1,074 inhabitants. By 1945, the place was in the district of Opole.

In 1945 the previously German place under Polish administration and renamed Stradunia and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950, the city came to Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place to re-founded powiat Krapkowicki. On April 4, 2006, in the municipality of rollers, the Straduna belongs introduced German as a second official language, and on 3 June 2009 was the place in addition to the official German names Straduna.
