Suhut is a town and a district of the Turkish province of Afyonkarahisar. The town lies about 25 kilometers south of the provincial capital of Afyonkarahisar.

The district lies in the southern center of the province. It is bordered on the west by Dinar and Sandıklı, on the northwest by Sinanpaşa, in the north to the central district and Çobanlar, to the east by Çay and to the southeast by the Isparta Province. By Suhut runs from north to south connecting road from Afyonkarahisar after Eğirdir. In the south of the district is the northern slope of the mountain Karakuş Dağları, west of the eastern slope of Sandıklı Dagi. Between extends the level Suhut Ovasi. About 13 kilometers east of the county town of the river is dammed KALI Çayı the reservoir Selevir Baraji. The river flows to the northwest in the Bacak Deresi, which flows into the lake shortly after Eber Gölü.
