The Sultan Syarif Kasim II International Airport ( Bandara Internasional Sultan Syarif Kasim indonesian II, IATA: PKU, ICAO: Wibb ) is the airport of Pekanbaru, capital of Riau province on the Indonesian island of Sumatra.

Objectives are Kuala Lumpur and Malacca in Malaysia, Singapore and Jakarta on Java, Medan in Sumatra and Batam on the Riau Islands.

The airport is used for military purposes, the 12th squadron of the Air Force of the Tentara Nasional Indonesia ( TNI) is here with BAE Hawk fighter aircraft ( Mk 109 and Mk 209) and Sikorsky H -34 helicopters stationed.

The airport was formerly known as Simpang Tiga. The current name refers to Sultan Syarif Kasim II from Riau from before Indonesia's independence. It is planned to relocate the airport further out of town.
