Supernova (South Korean band)

Cho Shin Sung ( Kor. 초신성 ) is a South Korean boy band, which is at Mnet Media under contract. The band consists of six members who are specialized in the areas of singing, dance, acting, rap and pop. Since their debut, the group is very popular in South Korea, Japan, China, Thailand and other East Asian countries.

In other countries the band is known by other names: In China they are called Chao xin xing (Chinese:超 新星), her English name is Super Nova and in Japan they are called Chōshinsei (Japanese超 新星).

Band History

2006: Before the debut

Before today's Choshinsung 5 members were in the group at that time was called GM5. This consisted of Geonil Park, Kim Sungje, Kwangsu Kim, Jae Hoon Song Jihyuk and young. In December 2006, there were changes in the cast. Jung Jae Hoon got out of the group and was replaced by Jung and Kim Yoonhak Jinchul ( Yinon of F.Cuz ) replaced. They came together under the name GM6 on the Big4 concert. In December 2006, before their debut, Kim Jinchul left the group and came new Yoon Sungmo it.

2007: debut

As their name "Supernova" suggests, the six members are designed in a variety of entertainment areas to " explode " by their talents as singers, rappers, dancers and actors to the test. Your self-confidence is based on a two and a half years of intensive vocal, dance and acting training. To stand out from other boy bands, their clothing style of sportiness and elegance is characterized what their male attractiveness underscores. Pick Season 6. They were also nominated for "The Best Male Newface Group & Artist of the Year " at the mkmf 2007.

2008

On 24 July 2008 Choshinsung visited for the first time in Thailand and participated in various shows and other events.

2009

On September 14, Choshinsung worked together with T -ara to make their digital single TTL (Time To Love ) to be published. From Choshinsung only Geonil, Kwangsu and Jihyuk were there and of T -ara were Soyeon, Hyomin, Eunjung and Jiyeon involved in this project. In September, the seven had several appearances in various music shows to promote the song. A remix version of the song with the name T.T.L. Listen 2 was released in October 2009. In the accompanying music video, all members of both groups were involved. Even if the rest of the members of both groups had no active involvement in the remix version, they all took part in the promotion of the songs from October.

Choshinsung made ​​their debut in Japan in September. They released three singles that appeared within three weeks. In the first week Kimidake was where Zutto, Hikari published in the second and in the third Superstar "Reborn ". The first two singles were completely new publications, while Superstar "Reborn " was a Japanese remake of their Korean single superstar. Their first Japanese album with the name Hana appeared on October 21.

2010

On January 20, published in 2010 Choshinsung their fourth Japanese single, Last Kiss. The B- side of the single爱 呗(Ai Uta ) feat. EЯY, a cover version of the Japanese hip-hop band greeen, whose song was published under the same name. On March 3, their second Japanese album Six Stars appeared ( ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ). In March they made with in a commercial for the Japanese fast food chain " Gusto " along with T -ara. In early April they were traveling in Thailand, where they performed as guests of a concert in Bangkok. The end of April they had various TV appearances in Japan, their new singles "まごころ( Magokoro ) " ALL ABOUT YOU and JP " REBORN " (published on May 12th, 13th and 14th 2010) and introduce her film Kimi ni Love song ( Love song for you ). The single Evidence of Love / Get Wild was released on 21 July 2010.

With her ​​return to Korea, published Choshinsung the comeback teaser for their music video for " 그리운 날 에 (On Days That I Missed You ) " on 12 August 2010. Their first mini-album Time to Shine was released on August 17, and a day later on 18 August, the full music video for " 그리운 날 에 (On Days that I Missed You )" was published. Moreover, even appeared on August 18, their Japanese single "爱 言葉( Aikotoba ) ".

On September 22, 2010, she released the album Hop Step Jumping! the already published, among other songs such as Evidence of Love and "まごころ( Magokoro ) " but also contained new like Oh! my girl! , Everyday and Million Dollar Baby. On the same day the DVD Hop Step Clipping appeared.

With their single Shining ☆ Star ( published on December 8, 2010) they returned to Japan, where they performed on 21 December 2010 at the Yokohama Arena in front of around 13,000 fans.
