Superserien

The Super Series is the highest Swedish American Football League, under the auspices of the Swedish Football Association SAFF. The League was founded in 1991. According to a back -and-away round, the top four teams play a semi-final. The winners reach the final of the Swedish championship. The two bottom club need in the play-offs against the two top teams in Division I.

Reigning champions are the Carlstad Crusaders.

Season 2009

The sporty relegated STU Northside Bulls held the class through the voluntary withdrawal of the Gothenburg Marvels. Also, the voluntary Limhamn Griffins withdrew, so the Super Series with only 6 teams going into the new season.

  • In the relegation to the winner of the Division I, Djurgårdens IF prevailed over the STU Northside Bulls and rises in the Super Series 2009. The STU Northside Bulls will be relegated to Division I. The Gothenburg Marvels other hand, can prevail against the Orebro Black Knights and keep the league Örebro remains in Division I.
