Sven Nylander
Sven Olof Nylander ( born January 1, 1962 in Varberg ) is a former Swedish athlete and Olympian.
General
Sven Nylander was more than a decade at the best 400-meter hurdlers in Europe. His personal best of 47.98 seconds, set at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, is still a Swedish record. 1982, 1987, 1990 and 1992, he was Swedish champion in the 400 - meter hurdles. Nylander finished his career in 1997 at the DN Galan in Stockholm. At a height of 1.92 m his competition weight was 80 kg.
