Synyster Gates

Synyster Gates (born 7 July 1981 in Huntington Beach, California), Brian Elwin Haner civil, Jr., is the lead guitarist for the metal band Avenged Sevenfold.

Biography

Brian Elwin Haner, Jr. studied jazz and classical guitar at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA. Musically Gates was coined mainly by Django Reinhardt and Dimebag Darrell.

After about a year, he received a call from " The Rev ", the former ( now deceased ), drummer for the band Avenged Sevenfold, if he wanted there to join as lead guitarist. He joined them and listened for his further education at the studio musician. From then on he began to teach himself by reading books and music videos looked. On his first visit to the studio with the new band the song To End The Rapture of the first album in a heavy metal version was added. This title finally appeared on the album Sounding The Seventh Trumpet ( 2001).
